Irwin Schiff has been filing "Zero Income Tax Returns" for the last 13 years and the Government has not charged him with tax evasion for any of those years. Perhaps if former Congressman Jim Trafficant, Leona Helmsley, and Pete Rose had filed "zero" returns, instead of the traditional returns they filed, they would not have been charged, convicted, or jailed for tax evasion either.

Jury asks to see IRS code book, Judge refuses to let them see it.
After 3 full days of deliberation the jury sent a note to the judge asking him to see the beat up, dog-eared, well read copy of co-defendant Cindy Neun's IRS code book which had been shown to them during the trial. They wanted to see Cindy's IRS code book and also a "clean" copy of an IRS code book.
The judged absolutely denied their request saying that allowing the jury to see the law would be "problematic".
With still no verdict rendered, the jury has been released for a three day weekend and will be back to resume deliberations at 9:00 Monday morning Las Vegas time.

The Evidence Submitted For The Jury To Review Could Have Filled A Small Truck
Much of the "evidence" may be totally irrelevent.
There is not one single shred of evidence to support the governments charges against the defendants.
Irwin Schiff was not even allowed to introduce any of his books other than The Federal Mafia.
The prosecution just wanted to be able to show the jury that "look here, we have a truckload of evidence", but none of the evidence really holds any water under close scrutiny.

This just happened this morning and the juror that is replacing her needs to be brought up to speed on things. LAS VEGAS - An outspoken anti-tax author told jurors in his criminal tax evasion trial Monday that no law requires Americans to pay income taxes and the Internal Revenue Service has no authority to collect them.
"It's the greatest program of organized extortion ever conceived by man," Irwin Schiff said in his closing argument. He insisted that paying income taxes is voluntary.

Prosecution thanks jury for time and attention during this 5 week trial.
Prosection goes on and on about how Irwin Schiff is a terrible, terrible, terrible, criminal and how society is not safe with the big, bad, mean, Mr. Schiff out on the streets.
Prosecution goes on to state that the IRS owns every living person in the United States and anybody who goes against the IRS will be prosecuted and put into prison.

Schiff tells court he follows IRS code
Income-tax opponent Irwin Schiff took the witness stand Tuesday during his tax-evasion trial and said he agrees with all the laws in the internal revenue code.
"I agree with all of them," Schiff said. "I believe every law is valid. That's why I sell the code. And maybe one of these days the IRS will start obeying those laws."

IRWIN SCHIFF AND TWO ASSOCIATES INDICTED FOR TAX FRAUD
WASHINGTON D.C. - Eileen J. O’Connor, Assistant Attorney General for the Tax Division, United States Department of Justice;
Daniel G. Bogden, U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada; and Nancy Jardini, Chief, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation
Division announced today that in Las Vegas, Nevada, a federal grand jury returned a thirty-three (33) count indictment charging Irwin
Schiff, Cynthia Neun, and Lawrence Cohen with conspiracy (18 U.S.C. §371), and aiding and assisting in the preparation and filing of
fraudulent federal income tax returns (26 U.S.C. §7206(2)). Messrs. Schiff and Cohen are also charged with income tax evasion
(26 U.S.C. §7201). Ms. Neun is also charged with willfully failing to file federal income tax returns (26 U.S.C. §7203), Social Security
disability fraud (42 U.S.C. §408) and theft of government property (18 U.S.C. §641).

For those who have listened to Irwin's audioblog of 9/21 @ 09:17 and are interested in the "two documents" that he mentions as being required by the Code but have not been produced by the government and are called for in his 12 page motion, you can find those two documents here.
This is his 6 page reply, but it contains the info. 1)The Secretary is authorized: 26 USC 6201(a) which is supported by the definitions at 26 USC 7701(a)(11)and 26 USC 7701(a)(12) AND 2)Delegations of authority must be published: 44 USC 1505 (Chap 15).
Since the government does not want the American public to discover the truth about how it illegally enforces the payment of income taxes (and how the public might protect itself) it persuaded U.S. District Court Judge, Lloyd D. George to enjoin me from selling “The Federal Mafia:How the Government Illegally Imposes and Unlawfully Collects Income Taxes" (and presumably other information as well). The following is the first page of Judge George’s 35 page Order. To fully appreciate the utter lawlessness of his Order, be sure to read the first paragraph of page 34 in which Judge George enjoins me from alleging some 6 specific “positions” in connection with income taxes. Then read the pleadings I filed in connection with my criminal and civil case involving these "positions," especially those pleadings involving the meaning of “income.”
If you're worrying about income taxes you think you owe the government - stop worrying because legally you don't "owe" the government one dime, since there's no law requiring anyone to pay income tax. It doesn't matter if you earned millions in salaries, fees, commissions, gambling and lottery winnings etc., and additional millions in stock and other kinds of trading profits. For income tax purposes, you can legally report "zero" income and pay no income taxes regardless of how much you might have earned.

If this statement shocks you, it is only because you and the rest of the nation have been thoroughly deceived by the federal government (with federal courts playing the key role), and an army of accountants, lawyers, and other tax preparers. All of these have a vested interest in keeping you ignorant concerning the real nature of federal income taxes.
